Terra Trail ShieldWall

The Continental Terra Trail ShieldWall MTB tire was designed and developed specifically for Gravel, it combines grip, performance and durability. It incorporates the characteristics of top-of-the-range Continental tires: the Black Chili rubber found on competition tires and which combines grip, performance and durability; the Protection reinforcement on the sides, both light and very effective; and a Tubeless Ready casing.

Description.

Handmade in Germany, especially for Gravel, road and off-road adventure, the CONTINENTAL Terra Trail ShieldWall Tubeless Ready Flexible tire adapts to all terrains. It adopts a slightly more aggressive design and studs than the Terra Speed model, for better grip on difficult terrain.

The Terra Trail is built around a 3-ply 180 tpi casing. It uses the PureGrip compound, a particularly durable rubber mixture, which offers good grip.

The Terra Trail tire here benefits from ShieldWall protection, which reinforces the sidewalls against cuts on tricky terrain. Another strong point of the product, it can be fitted without an inner tube thanks to Tubeless Ready technology, which further reduces the risk of a puncture.

Tubeless Ready:

Easy to install and reliable to use. Continental TL technology the answer to the demands of racing cycling. The easy-to-use tubeless system is based on an optimized tubeless foot, which not only guarantees a stable hold in the rim, but which, due to its shape, is almost waterproof. For optimum sealing, Continental recommends the use of RevoSealant tire sealant.
