Description.
Continental is a leader in automotive pneumatic equipment. It is also popular in the sports world thanks to its line of products for cycling. The Race 28 inner tube benefits from automotive technological advances but responds to the specificities of competition and leisure on road cycling.
The main advantage of the Continental race tube is to offer a removable Presta valve. This addition can be used to inject a puncture preventative or to screw on a valve extender allowing mounting on high profile rims.
Two versions of valve lengths are available: 42mm for most rims, 60mm for profiled rims. The Continental Race 28 inner tube is compatible with section tires (width) from 18 to 25mm.

The ContiTube bicycle inner tube program makes it easier for you to find the perfect inner tube for your cycling needs. This user-friendly tube system fits all sizes, lengths, designs, valve types and is perfect for all tire sizes and riding occasions. Varying tube types can affect the handling characteristics of your tyres:
The Standard inner tube (in Race, Tour and MTB categories), available in all sizes, is the best choice for everyday cycling.
The Light and Supersonic varieties offer riders the ability to reduce rotational weight, which increases speed. Light tubes have a lower thickness and it is therefore imperative to maintain inflation pressures to avoid the risk of punctures.
For carefree cycling, the Hermetic Plus tube is recommended. Its improved formula is lighter and more compact, making it highly puncture resistant in the presence of higher amounts of butyl and greater wall thickness. Because it retains air longer, it is preferred by bike rental companies.
The Freeride and Downhill inner tubes are particularly strong and voluminous. Their extra wall thickness effectively protects against punctures.
The Continental Race inner tube is intended for high profile wheels, the inner tube with Presta valve will ensure quality inflation and efficient rolling.
